Our Story<\/h2>","content":"We provide high quality information to people navigating the world of disability. We are located at the\u00a0Warner School of Education<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0LeChase Hall\u00a0on the River Campus of the\u00a0University of Rochester<\/a>. Our work is supported by the U.S. Department of Education, the Warner School of Education, and Friends of the Warner School.\r\n\r\nOur work began in 2008 through a partnership with the\u00a0B. Thomas Golisano Foundation<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0University of Rochester. Formerly known as the Institute for Innovative Transition, our work was made possible thanks to the generous support of the B. Thomas Golisano Foundation, an investment of over $2 million dollars. \"MarthaMartha Mock, PhD<\/a><\/h3>\r\n585-276-3363\r\nmmock@warner.rochester.edu<\/a>\r\n\r\nMartha Mock, Ph.D., is a professor and the director of the Center for Disability and Education at the Warner School of Education and Human Development at the University of Rochester. Mock has worked alongside and on behalf of individuals with disabilities and their families as a teacher, professor, and advocate for three decades. Mock is widely known for her work in the area of college options for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). She is the chair of the Accreditation Workgroup for the Think College National Coordinating Center and is the co-founder of the New York Inclusive Higher Education Coalition, a group of colleges, agencies, and families interested in promoting inclusive higher education throughout New York State. Mock is a former special education teacher and holds her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mock is affiliated with the Inclusive Higher Education Accreditation Council<\/a>, a new program accreditor for higher education programs serving students with intellectual disability.","background_color":"#ffffff","width":"width-medium"},{"acf_fc_layout":"text","anchor":"","css_class":"","title":"","content":"

\"\"Mary Judge-Diegert, EdD<\/a><\/h3>\r\n585-273-1838\r\nmjudge@warner.rochester.edu<\/a>\r\n\r\nMary Judge-Diegert, Ed.D., is an Assistant Professor and Associate Director of the Center for Disability and Education at the Warner School of Education and Human Development at the University of Rochester. She chairs the Think College National Coordinating Center Accreditation Workgroup and serves as a national consultant on inclusive higher education accreditation. Dr. Judge-Diegert is also Co-Principal Investigator for a U.S. Department of Education Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE) grant supporting the advancement of inclusive higher education accreditation.\r\n\r\nShe co-leads the New York State Inclusive Higher Education Coalition, a collaborative network of colleges, agencies, and families advancing inclusive postsecondary opportunities across New York State, and co-chairs the Northeast Regional Alliance. With more than three decades of experience in the education and disability fields, her work focuses on advancing access, equity, and systems change to expand postsecondary opportunities for students with disabilities. She holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Administration, with a specialization in higher education, from the University of Rochester.\r\n
