Transform Your Classroom Using Asset-Based Teaching (Steele & Honey, 2025)<\/div>\n
\"\"<\/a>\u00a0In our exploration of Transform Your Math Class Using Asset-Based Teaching for Grades 6-12<\/em> (Steele & Honey, 2025), we will reflect our own beliefs about the strengths and prior knowledge that our students bring to the classroom. We will think about ways that we can capitalize on these strengths so that students can contribute meaningfully in the classroom. We will explore strategies for promoting a growth mindset in math, encouraging productive struggle, and promoting equitable math instruction. We will have opportunities to discuss strategies with each other, go back and try things in our own classrooms, and then come back to reflect on our experiences. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
