Tech Transfer Revenue

The University brought in more than $33 million from licensing in the 2004 fiscal year, according to a report by the Association for University Technology Managers. Licensing revenue is up from $26 million in the 2003 fiscal year, continuing the steady increase since the University began actively promoting technology transfer more than a decade ago.
Research on vaccines and vaccine technology and work to improve digital imagery are among Rochester's top revenue generators.
