Dashboard: Job Openings/Time to Fill - Human Resources
Purpose
The Job Openings/Time to Fill - Human Resources Dashboard was designed to illustrate the timing "bins" (groupings) for open positions throughout the URMC network, as well as the actual length of time it took to fill specific job openings. Additionally, data has been aggregated by year, and by quarter for the current fiscal, in order to identify job opening trends over time.
Description
The Job Openings/Time to Fill Dashboard(s) is two-tabbed, and broken out into the Job Openings - Time to Fill Dashboard and the Job Openings - Days Open Dashboard. After the user applies his/her desired search parameters and controls, as well as filters for both time period (fiscal or calendar year) and actual year, the goal of the dashboards are to provide the end-user with a visual representation of job openings data in terms of both (1) how long positions took to fill from their opening to their closing, and (2) how many actual days the positions remained unfilled.

Tab 1 (Job Openings - Time To Fill Dashboard):
The Time to Fill Dashboard includes three different parameters which can be set by the user to Division, Department, Department Family, Job Code, Job Family, Pay Grade Category, FT/PT/TAR, Union Code, and None. Upon setting parameters, the user then must customize Parameter Controls running vertically along the right hand side of the dashboard. Time Period and Year filters are shaded in purple to the right of the parameters. Once the user has set the desired parameters and timing filters, the dashboard will display two visuals: (1) a vertical bar chart which, according parameters selected, will display the number of filled positions that each "timing bin" contained for a specific time period. The timing bins are: 1-30 Days, 31-60 Days, 61-90 Days, 91-120 Days, 121-150 Days, 151-180 Days, and >180 Days; (2) a detailed chart that, based on parameters and time filters, will display the HRS # (Job ID number), the Close/Filled date, the Open date, and the actual time to fill in days.

Tab 2 (Job Openings - Days Open Dashboard):
Much like the Time to Fill Dashboard, the Days Open Dashboard includes three different parameters which can be set by the user to Division, Department, Department Family, Job Code, Job Family, Pay Grade Category, FT/PT/TAR, Union Code, and None. Upon setting parameters, the user then must customize Parameter Controls which are located inside of a grey box starting mid-way down the right hand side of the dashboard. Time Period and Year filters are shaded in purple to the right of the parameters. Once the user has set the desired parameters and timing filters, the dashboard will display two primary views: (1) a horizontal bar chart which, according parameters selected, will display the current number of open positions, broken out into a "timing bin" contained for a specific time period. The timing bins are: 1-30 Days, 31-60 Days, 61-90 Days, 91-120 Days, 121-150 Days, 151-180 Days, and >180 Days; (2) a detailed chart that, based on parameters and time filters, will display the Job ID # (HRS #), the Open date, the Days Open Bin, and Days Open.
