Purpose
The Board of Trustees Staff Diversity Dashboard reports staff's Location, Gender and Ethnicity by Grade.
Description
This dashboard includes all full-time and part-time employees except; Faculty, TAR/casual and per diem employees/UR Affiliates
Grade 000 was dispersed between three categories; Managers and Leaders, Professional /Admin/Supervisory and Residents/PostDocs/Fellows.
Data are drawn from November 1st "snapshots" of University of Rochester populations. This data assures that the data aligns with federal reporting guidelines.
Additional Details
The University recognizes that there are many critical dimensions of diversity, and these dashboards only depict gender and race/ethnicity. Other dimensions of diversity data are not currently captured in our HRMS system, and are not required reporting to the federal government. The definitions of gender and race/ethnicity in the charts above are determined by the federal reporting agencies. We hope to expand these dashboards in the future with other data that explores other self-reported aspects of identity.
