myURHR Workday and UKG

Live December 16, 2024

We are in the final stretch! In less than two weeks, myURHR, which is powered by Workday and UKG, will be live on Monday, December 16. myURHR will replace HRMS.

myURHR December Highlights for Strong Staffing Employees

TOP 5 Key Things to Remember:

1.      New Time Clock Features: The time clocks will have new buttons, including “In Punch” and “Out Punch” beginning Sunday, December 15 at 6 am. Employees will enter time worked by “touching” the appropriate button, then “swiping” their ID badge.

Please take time to watch a new video for a tutorial of how to use the time
clocks, including when you will know if your punch was accepted
and how to enter a missed meal.

2.      Time Clocks Temporarily Unavailable: Saturday, December 14 at 10 pm - Sunday, December 15 at 6 am
Strong Staffing employees need to be aware of these time clock changes, as appropriate.

Punching in or out on Saturday, December 14— Strong Staff employees should use their existing timekeeping procedures until December 15.

Punching in on Sunday, December 15 between 12:01 a.m. and 6 a.m.—Hourly employees will need to use their department’s standard process for missed punches to enter “in and out” punches, during this time period, directly into UKG.

On Sunday, December 15 after 6 am—time clocks will be ready to accept punches in myURHR UKG.

3.      Meal Times in UKG: Meal periods will automatically be deducted from the time entered based on the employee’s home department. For Strong Staffing, a deduction of 30 min. will occur for all shifts worked if over six (6) hours. If you need or your department requires a different meal period, you will need to punch out and then punch back in for that meal period.

4.      Training: It is essential that all Strong Staffing employees, working in a University of Rochester position, complete their myURHR training in MyPath. Training is the single, most important action to prepare for myURHR Workday and UKG.
It’s not too late!

                                                              i.      Please coordinate training time with your department.

ii.      Quick reference cards (QRCs) will be accessible via the myURHR webpages and feature step-by-step instructions for navigating specific business processes that you will learn about in training (e.g. updating personal information in Workday and entering time worked in UKG).

5.      Strong Staffing employees working at Highland Hospital will continue to submit paper, approved timecards even after the myURHR go-live. The 2025 time card schedule will be available at the end of December.

Thanks,
