New Membership Application

Submit all applications by September 21st at 6 pm.

Incomplete or late membership applications will NOT be considered.  

Please do not omit any requested attachments.

In order to be considered for membership into R/C MERT, you must attend a Meet and Greet, either on Wednesday, September 10th from 18:30 to 20:00 or on Saturday, September 13th from 16:30 to 18:00. They will be held in Rettner Atrium.  Any excuses for being unable to attend a Meet and Greet must be sent to and cleared by Sanuja Bose, at s.bose@rochester.edu, in advance.

There are no red flags that will automatically preclude you from membership. Fill out every question completely and truthfully. All information provided will remain confidential and will only be viewed by the Executive Board, Selection Committee, and University Public Safety Personnel if necessary. Before beginning this application, note that your progress will not be saved midway. Please consider typing your responses into a Word Document over the next two weeks, and then copy and pasting them into your final application.

If chosen from the applicant pool, you will be invited to participate in a 20-minute interview with an Executive Board Member as a component of final selections. Final decisions will be made during the first week of October.

Finally, in the past there have been two cycles of applications per school year; however, for this school year there will be no Spring 2015 application cycle. We look forward to receiving your applications!
