University community honors Ed Hajim ’58 with new quadrangle dedication and statue

Hajim was University Board chairman from 2008 to 2016, and has served the University in many capacities for nearly 60 years. The new bronze statue of Hajim was created this year by internationally renowned sculptor Marc Mellon, who in 2009 also made the George Eastman statue on the Eastman Quad.

The Meliora Challenge campaign surpasses $1.2 billion initial goal

On the way to $1.2 billion, the University has met—and is currently exceeding—its campaign goals for faculty ($350 million) and the Annual Fund ($130 million). Campaign support to date has established 93 new endowed professorships throughout the University, which has exceeded the original goal of 80.

‘Thanks a Billion!’
