1968 Richard Sorrell (MA) (see ’66 College).

1971 Charlotte Mendoza (EdD) retires as professor of education at Colorado College on September 1 after 45 years of teaching there. She writes: “As department chair for 35 years, I expanded MAT offerings, created a summer program for gifted children, developed the international teaching program, and directed a professional development program that united current area K–12 teachers with liberal arts faculty.” Charlotte was also elected president of both the Association of Teacher Educators and the Association of Liberal Arts Colleges for Teacher Education.
