A letter from Lisa Liles to Managers regarding Highland Payroll and Account Payable Forms changing as UR Financials prepares for launch:
UR Financials, your new financial system, is launching in a week and a half.
As Finance and Accounts Payable prepare for the new financial system, Department Managers are being trained to run and schedule their reports in UR Financials.
Employees will also be affected when using financial forms. In July, Payroll and Accounts Payable forms will require new accounting codes, a Financial Activity Object or FAO, and possibly a spend category, revenue category, or ledger account code before processing.
A new Highland Chart of Accounts structure was explicitly developed for UR Financials and can be used to locate your appropriate Financial Activity Object (FAO) and spend category, revenue category, or ledger account code used on these forms.
As of July, all saved financial form templates should be deleted and replaced with the newest version. Updated forms are now accessible on the sites below and will be processed after July 1st. The updated Payroll forms need to be used on 7/1/2023 and then going forward. The updated Accounts Payable forms need to be used as of Friday, 6/23/2023, and then going forward.
You will notice the forms have hyperlinks to bring you to the FAO and SC mapping from within the form.
Managers and employees refer to the Financial Data Model and Chart of Accounts infographic to learn about account code changes.

Managers can also explore UR Financial Support options to use once UR Financials goes live on July 1st.
Thank you,
