The University of Rochester’s 174th Commencement Ceremony marks the conferral of academic degrees for all undergraduate and graduate students. The Commencement Ceremony kicks off a weekend full of events for graduates, their families and friends, faculty, and staff. Registration is required to attend.

Graduates, their families, and friends are invited to grab a bite from local food trucks and take pictures together in front of the UR2024 and MELIORA letter installations.
While all degrees from all schools are conferred at the University Commencement Ceremony on May 17, school graduation ceremonies offer graduates an opportunity to be recognized individually.
