How to strengthen your pelvic floor

Ryenn Sanger, a nurse practitioner, and Marc Eigg, a clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology, explain how to strengthen pelvic floor muscles and what to look out for with pelvic health.


FOR FACULTY AND STAFF

Submit Medallion Leadership Program workshop proposals

Staff and faculty can submit a workshop proposal to the 2025–26 Medallion Leadership Program schedule, a cocurricular program that focuses on developing socially responsible leaders. Proposals are due July 11; more information can be found on the proposal form. Email medallion@rochester.edu with questions.

Apply to the Health Care Leadership Development Program by June 15

The Health Care Leadership Development Program is designed for Medical Center physicians and healthcare leaders with an advanced degree, with the targeted curriculum taught by Simon Business School faculty. Admission priority is given to Medical Center leaders who plan to pursue all four modules. Apply by June 15.

Register to attend a virtual information session on Tuesday, June 10, from noon to 12:45 p.m. to learn more.

Foodlink Curbside Market today

Explore Foodlink’s Curbside Market today, May 30, from noon to 2 p.m. on the Wilson Quad, in coordination with the Food Pantry and Wilson Commons Student Activities. The Foodlink Curbside Market accepts cash, debit/credit, SNAP, eWIC, and Double-Up Food Bucks.

Community health fair

The community is invited to the Oak Orchard Health Family Fun and Community Health Fair on Saturday, May 31, from 9 a.m. to noon. Find resources from Wilmot Cancer Institute’s Community Outreach and Engagement team, as well as free health screenings such as skin cancer checks and vision screenings.

School of Nursing open house

Join the School of Nursing for an in-person prelicensure open house on Tuesday, June 3, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Whether you pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree, you’ll gain the hands-on experience, professional support, and academic excellence to begin your nursing journey.
