New book highlights one of the world’s largest collections of HIV/AIDS posters
The book Up Against the Wall: Art, Activism, and the AIDS Poster is the product of a partnership between the River Campus Libraries and RIT Press and features the University’s AIDS Education Posters Collection, which is housed in the Department of Rare Books, Special Collections, and Preservation. It also gives a preview of the Memorial Art Gallery exhibition of the same name, scheduled to open in March 2022. Find out more about the book, collection, and exhibit.

In June, Sarah Peyre, who has recently stepped away from her role as dean of the Warner School of Education while serving as interim provost, delivered a virtual address to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends. Peyre shared highlights from her first year in review as well as her vision for the Warner School’s future. The recording of the conversation, facilitated by Andrea Barrett, an assistant professor of educational leadership, is available on YouTube.
