Two Rochester researchers named AAAS fellows
From left: Nicholas Bigelow, the Lee A. DuBridge Professor of Physics and a professor of optics, and Michael Scott, the Arthur Gould Yates Professor of Engineering and also a professor in and chair of the computer science department, have been elected fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. They are among 564 members of the association recognized this year for their scientifically or socially distinguished efforts on behalf of the advancement of science or its applications.

Select eRecord training classes return to Rochester Tech Park
As the COVID-19 case numbers have fallen, several eRecord training classes will again be offered at Rochester Tech Park beginning February 1. Entrepreneurial training for technology innovators
The University is partnering once again with the NSF I-Corps UNY Node to offer a training program meant for university researchers in STEM fields, student entrepreneurs, and early-stage founders. The program is fully virtual and provides an opportunity to explore the market potential of deep technology innovation, all while learning essential entrepreneurial skills.
