Eastman School musicians to be featured during jazz festival
Mark your calendar for one of Rochester’s most celebrated summer events—the CGI Rochester International Jazz Festival, which marks its 20th anniversary from June 23 to July 1. Events will take place in 19 venues, including concert spaces at the Eastman School of Music: Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre, Kilbourn Hall, Hatch Recital Hall, and the Ray Wright Room.
On Friday, July 14, the 13th annual Shred Fest will take place from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Zone 3 South parking lot. Faculty, staff, students, and alumni can drop off up to five boxes or bags of unwanted personal documents—such as bills, bank statements, tax records, and more—to be securely shredded and recycled. Life insurance and retirement beneficiary information
To ensure that your life insurance benefits and retirement plan assets are distributed according to your wishes and without delay, it’s important to name specific beneficiaries and keep your designations up to date. If you do not designate a beneficiary for your life insurance policy, benefits will be paid according to a default order of priority. Similarly, your retirement plan assets will be transferred according to the terms of your plan’s beneficiary designation, not your will.
To view or change your retirement beneficiary information, go to TIAA.org/rochester to register or log in to your account. Once logged in, under the “Actions” tab, choose “Add/Edit Beneficiaries.”
To view or change your life insurance beneficiary information, log into HRMS ( and click on “Securian Financial.”
