TODAY’S UPDATES

New kiosks installed for managing and purchasing Rocky Bucks

Two new Transact kiosks have been installed for managing and purchasing Rocky Bucks, providing easier access for the University community. The new kiosks are located across from Starbucks at Wilson Commons and Barnes & Noble in College Town, in addition to the existing kiosk outside Danforth Dining Center in Susan B. Anthony Halls. Rocky Bucks, formerly URos, are accepted by a wide variety of dining, grocery, food, and retail stores on campus and in College Town. Students, faculty, and staff can purchase Rocky Bucks anytime through their Transact account. University employees without an account can sign up in just a few minutes. Parents can add to their child’s Rocky Bucks balance through the student’s Transact account, which all first-year students are automatically assigned. Visitors can purchase Rocky Bucks by obtaining a Visitor Card from any Transact kiosk, which can also be used to replenish their cards as needed. Email RockyBucks@ur.rochester.edu with questions.
