Researchers needed for collaboration with Einstein-Montefiore

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) recently designated people with disabilities as a health disparity population. The University is collaborating with Einstein-Montefiore’s CTSA Disability as Diversity: Reducing Researcher Roadblocks (D2/R3) study, which aims to mitigate factors associated with the under-representation of people with disabilities in NIH research. Participation is needed from Rochester health researchers in completing a survey to help identify salient researcher-facing barriers to including people with disabilities in biomedical and behavioral research. A later stage of D2/R3 will trial an intervention to mitigate these barriers. Receive compensation as a gift card or donate to a charitable organization.
