Actor Giancarlo Esposito to deliver 2025 MLK Commemorative Address
Actor Giancarlo Esposito, best known for Breaking Bad, The Mandalorian, and Do the Right Thing, will deliver the University’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Address on Thursday, January 30. Cosponsored by the Office of Minority Student Affairs and the Office of the President, the event is scheduled for 5 p.m. in Strong Auditorium. Esposito will meet with student leaders in Douglass Leadership House before the address. A registration link will be available in January. Learn more and save the date here.

The University’s Educational IT Governance Committee has been evaluating the applicability of FeedbackFruits’ pedagogical solutions for campus-wide implementation. FeedbackFruits offers Feedback and Assessment and Collaboration and Engagement solutions that seamlessly integrate with Blackboard to improve teaching and learning and save faculty time.
Join customized demo sessions geared toward various disciplines on Zoom, during which the FeedbackFruits partner team will showcase their solutions in Blackboard. Each session will be 45 minutes long with time for questions.

The Program of Dance & Movement, with support from NYS DanceForce, presents the internationally acclaimed contemporary skating company Le Patin Libre on tour from Montréal. The company will perform its show Murmuration at the Tim Hortons Iceplex, 2700 Brighton Henrietta Town Line Road, on Sunday, December 8, at 8 p.m. Tickets for University faculty and staff are $10; students are free with their University ID. Interactive map shows expanded Campus Times circulation
Rochester’s student-run newspaper, the Campus Times, has expanded its circulation and distribution of print newspapers with 24 new distribution locations spanning the River Campus, the Eastman School of Music, Innovation Square, College Town, and the Medical Center. Use the new online interactive map to find the most recent edition at a newspaper rack near you.
