Workshop on strategies for securing your first teaching position
The Future Faculty workshop series is aimed at the next generation of faculty and is designed to give Rochester graduates an edge in the academic marketplace. “Strategies for Securing Your First Teaching Position” takes place in two parts on Tuesday, March 25. In-person attendance is strongly recommended; you can also attend virtually via Zoom.

Prom dress and tuxedo drive to benefit Wilson Magnet High School
The Department of Public Safety (DPS) is hosting a prom dress and tuxedo drive to benefit the students of Joseph C. Wilson Magnet High School. Consider donating prom dresses, tuxedos, men’s formalwear, men’s and women’s formal shoes, and accessories—including ties and jewelry. All sizes are needed. Donations will be accepted starting March 17 through April 7. Drop-off locations include: DPS headquarters at 612 Wilson Boulevard; Eastman Dental Center; the Strong Memorial Hospital Emergency Department, Emergency Department Psychiatry (CPEP), main lobby, and first floor social work office; the Memorial Art Gallery; and Strong West Emergency Department Entrance. Grand rounds webinar on giving voice to people living with dementia
Attend a public health grand rounds webinar on Friday, March 21, at noon for an overview of a therapeutic choral arts program through the Eastman Community Music School providing a nonpharmacological benefit to people living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
