Malicious actors increasingly use social media platforms to lure users into cryptocurrency schemes. Particularly prevalent are investment scams that promise zero risk and high returns. These scams often begin with unsolicited texts or emails. University IT warns that it is crucial to avoid clicking on any links or advertisements, even if they appear to come from a reputable company. Be wary of any business or individual requesting payment via cryptocurrency, as this is a common scam indicator. Cryptocurrency scams are not confined to social media alone. The government’s Internet Crime Complaint Center offers comprehensive information regarding cryptocurrency’s workings and its various scams.

All sophomores in the School of Arts & Sciences and the Hajim School of Engineering & Applied Sciences are invited to celebrate officially declaring their major at an event today, April 14. Summer employment, skill building, and opportunities fair
Students can stop by Hirst Lounge in Wilson Commons on Monday, April 21, from 3 to 5 p.m. to meet with departments offering summer employment opportunities and learn about in-person and virtual skill-building opportunities to enhance their professional development, regardless of their summer plans or plans after graduation. All class years are welcome. Hosted by the Greene Center, Office of Student Employment, and Office of Summer and Continuing Studies.
Submissions open for annual Creative Writing Awards
Employee parking permits will auto-renew for the 2025–26 year based on current parking assignments. Employees who do not want their permit renewed must opt out by Thursday, April 17. To opt out, log into My Parking Online with your Active Directory username and password, and follow the instructions provided.
