Effective June 30, money order services at the Medical Center post office will be discontinued. For alternative locations offering the service, visit www.usps.com or contact your nearest USPS branch.
Graduate students can attend a free outdoor yoga class today, June 23, at 7 p.m. on the College Town Green hosted by Graduate and Family Housing, the Mindful University Project, and College Town. Some mats will be available, but you’re encouraged to bring your own mat or towel. Register in advance; bring your student ID.
Professional development session on applying to fellowships
The Office of Undergraduate Research hosts a weekly professional development series for Schwartz Discover Grant recipients on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. A limited number of slots are available to all University undergraduate students. The next session on June 25 is on applying to fellowships and will be in the Computer Studies Building, Room 209. Pre-registration is required.
Alcohol education seminar
Join the UHS Health Promotion Office for an alcohol education seminar on June 26, July 25, or September 26 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. The seminar aims to educate students about University policy, physiological effects, and harm reduction strategies regarding alcohol. Register on CCC at the links above.

Wi-Fi hotspots in coffee shops, airports, and other public areas are convenient, but what you do is also public knowledge to anyone else on the same network. If you’d ensure your belongings are safe and secure, why wouldn’t you do the same with your data? Read the FTC’s advice for securely using public Wi-Fi networks and what device settings you should change, and consider using the University’s VPN to prevent attackers from seeing or modifying your data as it travels across the network.
