Professional development session on crafting a research poster
The Office of Undergraduate Research is hosting the final weekly professional development session for Schwartz Discover Grant recipients and a limited number of University undergraduate students on Wednesday, July 23, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Goergen Hall. For this session on crafting a research poster, students in the natural sciences, engineering, and applicable social sciences will be in Room 101. Students in the humanities and humanistic social sciences will be in Room 109. Pre-registration is required.

Applied genomics seminar on clinical genomics and epigenetics
The next summer applied genomics seminar, run as part of the Goergen Institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence MS program in applied genomics, takes place on Wednesday, July 23, from 4 to 5 p.m. in Wegmans Hall, Room 1005. Bin Zhang, an associate professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, discusses clinical genomics and epigenetics.
