VSP vision coverage reminder

If you enrolled in VSP for your routine vision coverage (“Benefit Extras” would be listed under pre-tax deductions on your paystub), don’t forget to take advantage of it during the calendar year. You don’t need a card to utilize your benefits. At your eye care appointment, provide your VSP ID number, which is 3 zeroes followed by your employee ID number.

Library hours adjusted for Thanksgiving break

River Campus Libraries will operate under modified hours during the Thanksgiving break, November 26–30. Before visiting, please check the updated schedules for each library location. Gleason Library will remain open throughout the break. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to plan and make use of available resources.

Frontiers of Impressionism ASL with voice interpretation guided tour

Experience the Memorial Art Gallery’s Frontiers of Impressionism: Paintings from the Worcester Art Museum on an American Sign Language (ASL) tour, with voice interpretation, led by Deaf tour guide Jackie Schertz on Saturday, December 13, at 1 p.m. An ASL-only tour is offered on Saturday, December 6, at 1 p.m.

Adam Frank, the Helen F. and Fred H. Gowen Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, joins CNN to talk about never-before-seen images, released by NASA, of an interstellar object known as 3I/ATLAS.
