Researchers have already shown that mild to moderate exercise can reduce “chemo brain.” Now, a new study led by Michelle Janelsins, the Joan and Gary Morrow Endowed Distinguished Professor of Supportive Care in Cancer, suggests that a low dose of over-the-counter ibuprofen can also achieve positive results for cancer patients.

The Office of Undergraduate Research’s three Celebrating Research Week events drew over 600 attendees and wrapped up last week with another 42 presenters sharing their research findings at the lightning talks and speaker symposium. The top three presentations and a People’s Choice award were handed out at the lightning talks. The President’s Awards and Deans’ Awards were given for top symposium speakers in each of the four disciplines.
