A recent issue with the Procurement Department’s small printer supply vendor, Xerox, has caused delays in the delivery of toner orders. Summer applied genomics seminar for faculty and students |
The summer applied genomics seminar is a weekly venue to learn and engage in applied problems in genomics and will include short presentations from students, trainees, and faculty on current research problems with an emphasis on pragmatic solutions. The series is run as part of the Goergen Institute for Data Science & Artificial Intelligence MS program in applied genomics and is open to students and faculty interested in the application of genomics and genome technologies to problems in biology. The next session is today, June 1, on phylogenomics with Mark Hibbins, an assistant professor of biology. All sessions take place from noon to 1 p.m. in Wegmans Hall, Room 1005.

Drop-in classes at URochester Medicine Fitness Center |
During June and July, the URochester Medicine Fitness Center will offer classes—from Zumba to Pilates—to University affiliates who are not fitness center members at a reduced price. Find more information and a schedule here.

Call for proposals for Boundless Together conference |
Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members are invited to submit breakout session proposals for the 2026 Boundless Together conference to be held on Friday, October 23, at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. This year’s conference theme is “The Power of Us.” All fields and areas of expertise are welcome. Submit proposals by July 9 at 5 p.m.
