Spring travel guidelines for international studentsThe International Services Office (ISO) strongly recommends that all international students review the travel guidelines and consult with an ISO adviser before traveling—within and outside of the US—for the upcoming spring break or other semester travel. Students should ensure they have their I-20s or DS-2019s (with a valid travel signature), passports, and an unexpired visa sticker. Visa decisions and entry to the US are subject to the discretion of the US Consular Officers and Border Protection.
- Whether you are traveling in the country or outside of the US, remember to carry these documents with you. Do not pack them in your checked airline baggage.
- Make it easy for a government officer to verify your legal status by having your original immigration documents available if requested.
- You should carry original documents with you if you travel outside of Rochester and the surrounding area and remember to keep copies in a secure location in your home.
Spring Break shuttlesComplimentary shuttles will be available to transport students to and from the airport, train, and bus stations on Friday, March 7; Saturday, March 8; and Sunday, March 16. Find more information on the shuttle schedule here. Sponsored by the Students’ Association.
