Spring semester deadlines

Monday, April 14, is the last day to withdraw from a course. Monday, April 28, is the last day to declare the S/F grading option.

Fall course schedule available in UR Student

The fall 2025 course schedule is available in UR Student, and you are encouraged to begin planning your fall schedules now. Connect with your college advisor, share your course plans, and confirm your selections to keep you on track. School of Arts & Sciences students in the classes of 2027 and 2028 and all Hajim School of Engineering & Applied Sciences undergraduates have advising holds that must be lifted before registration.

New courses are being added to UR Student daily. If you haven’t checked in a while, visit UR Student for the latest offerings. In addition, browse the brand-new humanities course catalog for fall 2025 to see all humanities courses in one document.

Fall registration dates

Registration for matriculated Rochester students will begin on April 14.

  • Monday, April 14, at 7 a.m. for students with priority registration appointments
  • Monday, April 14, at 8 a.m. for graduate students, remaining seniors (Class of 2025), seniors (Class of 2026), Take5, E5, and dual-degree Eastman School of Music students
  • Tuesday, April 15, at 8 a.m. for juniors (Class of 2027)
  • Wednesday, April 16, at 8 a.m. for sophomores (Class of 2028)
  • Monday, April 22, is open enrollment, including nonmatriculated and visiting students

2025–26 commuter dining plan registration

Commuting students, use the commuter dining plan registration link to register for a 2025–26 meal plan. Registration is open until June 1. Lack of registration will incur a $50 late fee. Financial aid recipients are encouraged to connect with their financial aid counselor if they have questions about how the University incorporates the cost of their meal plan when determining their financial aid eligibility. Email mealplans@services.rochester.edu with questions or concerns.
