Day of Giving
Today is the day. Tomorrow is the reason.
One of the most impactful ways you can pitch in and help on the Day of Giving is by spreading the word to your personal and social media networks about the day and encouraging others to join in.
Sharing your support online will help us amplify the message of collective impact and generate support for important causes and programs that are critical for the future. You will make a meaningful difference to students, patients, doctors, nurses, researchers, faculty/staff, artists and musicians. Thank you!

Help promote the Day of Giving
- Post a save the date to let people know you’ll be participating on April 19, 2023.
- Encourage others to participate in the Day of Giving.
- Promote and share Day of Giving challenges on social media.
- Share and retweet posts from University-owned accounts about the Day of Giving.
Demonstrate your University of Rochester pride
- Let people know why you choose to give back and support the University.
- Share your personal connection to the University and what it means to you.
- Share a story or photos from your time at the University of Rochester.
- Share a story about a lesson you learned or a person that inspired you at the University—a professor, friend, caregiver.
- Post a picture of you in University of Rochester gear.
Show support for and honor our University of Rochester Medical Center Heroes
- Send messages of gratitude and appreciation to all of the heroes at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
- Let the URMC team know what they mean to you.
- Post about any gifts you are making in honor of a loved one or URMC staff.
