The number of California wineries making excellent wines is staggering, but to be expected in a state with nearly 5,000 wineries. With so many wineries, some exciting producers don’t get the attention they deserve. This lot includes several of those, plus a couple of familiar names. Included are a bottle each of 2021 Herman Story Nuts and Bolts Santa Barbara Syrah, 2022 Williams Selyem Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, 2021 Pas de Cheval Intermezzo St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon, 2022 Kosta Browne Gap’s Crown Vineyard Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, 2019 Sojourn Home Ranch Cuvée Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and 2013 Pangloss Moon Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon.
