In recent years, Gallo Winery has quietly expanded by acquiring several luxury wine brands. To the company’s credit, those luxury brands have maintained and even enhanced their quality, demonstrating the attention to detail that goes into each of its products. Orin Swift Cellars in the Napa Valley, wine quality continues to impress. Two Magnums (1.5-Liter) comprise this lot: the flagship 2023 Orin Swift Mercury Head Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (which received a score of 96 from The Wine Advocate), and the Bordeaux-inspired 2022 Orin Swift Palermo Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (which received a score of 89 from The Wine Advocate but clearly deserved a higher one).
