Research, clinical drug trials, training, and instructional projects involving funds, materials or other compensation from outside sources. The terms of the award may contain any of the following: binds the University to a line of scholarly or scientific inquiry; a line-item budget; financial reports; technical reports; an external audit; or the agreement provides for the disposition of intellectual property.
