ADMISSION: Free and open to the public. Note: Free parking is available on University lots on weekends.
The University of Rochester Symphony Orchestra will give a performance at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4, in Strong Auditorium on the University's River Campus.
David Harman, professor of music and director of orchestral activities, will conduct the Symphony Orchestra in works that include Mendelssohn's Overture for Winds, op.24, Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings, and Khachaturian's Concerto for Flute and Orchestra. The performance will also feature Bonita Boyd, professor of flute at the Eastman School of Music.
This performance is free and open to the public. Please contact the College Department of Music at (585) 275-2828 at least five days in advance to request any special accommodations.
