EVENT: Performance by University of Rochester Symphony Orchestra

TIME, DATE, AND PLACE: 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 4, in Strong Auditorium on the University of Rochester's River Campus

ADMISSION: Free and open to the public. Note: Free parking is available on University lots on weekends.

The University of Rochester Symphony Orchestra will give a performance at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4, in Strong Auditorium on the University's River Campus.

David Harman, professor of music and director of orchestral activities, will conduct the Symphony Orchestra in works that include Mendelssohn's Overture for Winds, op.24, Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings, and Khachaturian's Concerto for Flute and Orchestra. The performance will also feature Bonita Boyd, professor of flute at the Eastman School of Music.
