my fiancé Tim Butler, and me. Every year, we ride the Pan Mass Challenge
from Sturbridge to Bourne, Mass., and from Bourne to Provincetown, R.I.—192
miles—for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. This year was special because
we rode for our great friend and fellow photon enthusiast, Harrison
Roberts. He is the father of two sweet little girls, Arianna and Gabrielle,
a former scientist at M.I.T. Lincoln Labs, and now a product manager at EMC
Corp. He was diagnosed with colon cancer earlier this year and is fighting back
with surgery and aggressive chemotherapy treatments. Harry generously sponsored
the Pan Mass Challenge in past years, and this year we rode for him to get well.
Next year we will ride for Harry as a survivor. Team Photon is committed to
raising $15,000, and thanks to our sponsors, we have met our goal every year.
If you are interested in joining the team next year, please contact me.”
