Day writes that he has moved from Berlin to Papua New Guinea and has
remarried. He writes,
“My new wife is named Phuong and we both crew a fishing trawler, the
Lonely Duck, based out of Port Moresby. So if anybody finds themselves in this

Laurie Romanow Fladd sends a photo of herself
and alumnae Christine Flanagan, Marissa Feinsilver, and Margo
Rohrer Brousseau ’93, who got together for a weekend in New Jersey.
. . . David Kemp, a lieutenant commander in the
U.S. Navy, sends a photo from last October’s Navy Birthday Ball in Washington,
D.C., where the guest of honor was Secretary of the Navy Donald
Winter ’69. Kemp was joined by Lt. Cmdr. Rob
Burns ’93. “It was a great evening,” David notes.
In the photo are Rob (second from left) and his wife, Kristen, the guest of
honor, and David and his wife, Marie-Christine. . . . Brad
Piver and his wife, Sharon, welcomed their third child, Tatem Shea,
on June 21, 2006. The family, including sons, Austin, 10, and Preston, 6, lives
in northern Virginia.

Jim Galovski (see ’94). . . . Jackie
Peckham and Michael Tan ’95 send
a photo to announce the birth of their daughter, Jameson Louise, on August
9, 2006. Mike is an infectious disease physician at Summa Health System in
Akron, Ohio, and assistant professor of internal medicine at Northeastern Ohio
University’s College of Medicine.

Pediatrician Swati Gandhi has joined Bassett
Healthcare in Herkimer, N.Y. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics
and the American Association of Professional Indian Doctors. . . . Rachel
Kramer and her husband, Chris, send a photo to announce the birth of
their daughter, Zoe Eva, on September 8, 2006. They live in Watertown, Mass.,
where Rachel is a teacher in the Newton public schools. . . . Michael
Posner writes that he has been working as an assistant professor at
Villanova University over the past year as he “finally!” finished
his Ph.D. in biostatistics from Boston University in April 2006. He and his
wife, Wendy Smith, send a photo of their children, Yael Rebecca and Jonah Ezra.

Jim ’92 and Tara
Rider Galovski send a photo of their daughters, Saige, 5, and Hope,
17 months. The family lives in St. Louis, where James has been named global
director of supply chain for the Nestlé Purina PetCare Co., and Tara is an
associate research professor in the psychology department at the University
of Missouri-St. Louis. . . . Jeff Storch married
Monica Emerick on October 28, 2006. Keith Butsunturn was
a groomsman, and Jeannie Uyanik ’95 was
the wedding planner. Guests included Felix Figueroa,
Fred Goetz, Josh Freedman, and Stefanie Firtell ’95.
. . . Dennis Tucker, publisher at Whitman Publishing,
writes that three of his authors won 2006 Best Specialized Book awards from
the Numismatic Literary Guild, and four won Extraordinary Merit awards.
1995
Frederick Beer, a founder of Auragen Communications
in Rochester, has become chairman of the company, and fellow founder David
Thiel has been named CEO. . . . Keri Claiborne
Boyle sends a photo to note that after almost eight years of competing
in triathlons, she raced her first full Ironman in Florida last November. She
completed the race, which consists of a 2.4-mile ocean swim, 112-mile bike
ride and a 26.2-mile run, in 12 hours and 50 minutes. . . . Andrew and Lisa
Graf Falconer send a photo to note the arrival of their first child,
Benjamin Rhys, on October 8, 2006, in Chicago, where they have lived since
1998. In 2003, Andrew cofounded a Web design and consulting agency, Element
Creative. Lisa is an assistant vice president with ABN AMRO/LaSalle Bank Corp,
where she has worked in human resources since 2001. . . . Jaime
Berman Friedman is a pediatrician in San Diego, Calif., where she lives
with her husband, Brian. She sends a photo of their children, Samantha, 10 months,
and Zachary, 3 years old. . . . Christina Valvo Hellner ’98W
(MS) and her husband, Wade, send a photo to announce the birth of their daughter,
Linnea Francesca, on May 3, 2006. She weighed 5 pounds, 13 oz. and was 18.5
inches long. Christina, who plans to take a few years off from teaching Spanish
to raise her daughter, moved with her family from Sunnyvale, Calif., to northern
Virginia in early November. . . . Janine Jurkowski sends
a photo from her marriage to Michael Lefebvre on August 6, 2006. Fellow alumna
and Delta Gamma sister Denise Smith Steppenbeck was
one of the five bridesmaids. . . . Cristina Sierra and
her husband, Daniel, send a photo to announce the birth of their first baby,
Gabrielle Sierra Liberman, born June 3, 2006. The family lives in Chicago,
where Cristina works for the software company Ariba while finishing up an executive
M.B.A. at Northwestern’s Kellogg School. . . . Michael
Tan (see ’92). . . . Michael Westphal writes
that he has taken a new position at the World Bank, working on climate change
and biodiversity issues.
1996
Esther Garvey Eagan has been named associate
licensing manager for the Office of Science, Technology Transfer, and Economic
Outreach at the University at Buffalo. . . . John Kelly and
his wife, Nancy, send a photo to announce the birth of their son, Patrick Mangan,
on September 23, 2006. They live in Milton, Mass. John writes, “Sorry
I missed the 10th reunion but hopefully I’ll catch up with everyone at
the 15th!”
1997
Mike Lyons and his wife, Sarah, send a photo
of their new baby boy, Ethan George, who was born on September 15, 2006. Ethan
weighed 5 pounds and was 19 inches long. The family has moved to Hernando,
Miss., where Mike runs a podiatry practice. . . . Diana
Past Napolitano has been named government relations associate in the
Office of Government and Community Relations at Syracuse University.

Muderick and his wife, Elizabeth, welcomed daughter Rebecca Sylvia on
August 17, 2006. Elizabeth joins big sister Sara, 3. . . . Joe and Nicole
Laudisio Tamer ’99 send a photo to announce the birth of their
son, Zachary Dominic. Zachary joins big sister, Abigail, and big brother, Christian.
Joe is an instructor of science education at the Emma Willard School. Nicole
is enjoying her time at home with their children. They live in Albany. . .

Siff ’05S (MBA) married Cory Fasold ’05S
(MBA) on October 7, 2006, in Falmouth, Maine. Lyndie is a management associate
in the Citi Cards division of Citigroup. Cory is an investment banking associate
at Bear Stearns. They live in New York City. . . . Amanda
Juszczak Trotti sends an update: She graduated from the Columbia University
School of Dental and Oral Surgery in May 2003 and married classmate Domenic
Trotti on October 25, 2003. She writes, “Our beautiful daughter, Serena,
followed on January 12, 2004. After practicing in New York City for a few years,
we moved to Toronto in January 2006 and are now both working hard in private
practice. I still keep in close touch with a number of fellow alums, who I
must say are the best friends I have ever made in my entire life. I miss New
York, but I love living in Canada!” . . . Marcos
Vera has opened a modern furniture, clothing, and accessories boutique
called :nook in Rochester. Marc donates a portion of proceeds to St. Jude’s
Children’s Hospital and Doctors Without Borders.
