Research Conflict of Interest & Commitment
Research conflicts of interest and commitment can arise when outside relationships or activities intersect with one’s institutional responsibilities. The University of Rochester requires disclosure of relevant interests so actual and potential conflicts can be assessed and, when needed, managed in a way that protects research integrity, participants, collaborators, and public trust. This page provides an overview of what to disclose, when disclosures are required, and where to find related policies, guidance, and forms.
