Research integrity forms the foundation of trustworthy, reproducible, and impactful scholarship. To support researchers throughout the research lifecycle, the University provides access to a suite of tools designed to promote transparency, reproducibility, responsible data management, and the integrity of published research.
Several of these platforms leverage advanced artificial intelligence (AI) to assist researchers in identifying potential concerns that may be difficult to detect through manual review alone.
These tools, when used in conjunction with the University’s guidelines on the Responsible use of Generative Artificial Intelligence in Research, are designed to support—not replace—researcher expertise, peer review, and institutional oversight.
Per the University’s guidelines on the Responsible use of Generative Artificial Intelligence in Research, researchers are reminded to (i) Protect University data, (ii) Verify the results from AI tools, (iii) Disclose the use of AI tools when reporting.
To learn more about the tools, please see the information below and instructions for signing up for individual tools. Please direct all questions to ORISE@rochester.edu.
