Evaluation Support for University of Rochester Faculty

Collaborating to demonstrate impact

The Program Evaluation Team provides evaluation support to University of Rochester Faculty through both pre-award consultation and post-award collaboration. Whether you are developing a proposal or implementing a funded project, we partner with faculty to design meaningful evaluation approaches that align with project goals and funder expectations.

Pre-Award Support

The Program Evaluation Team provides free consultation to Principal Investigators (PIs) developing proposals. The Program Evaluation Team will help develop a program evaluation plan, build appropriate evaluation budgets, and provide additional grant development support. We can also support the PI in securing and working with an external evaluator if required by the funder.

Post-Award Support: Program Evaluators as Senior Personnel

Increasingly, funders are welcoming projects to include program evaluators from the same institution, provided they are positioned in a separate unit. We welcome being included in project teams as senior personnel to lead evaluation and program improvement efforts. There are many advantages to include a program evaluator internal to the University of Rochester. We have a strong understanding of the structure, organization, climate, and processes.
