Comprehensive Professional Learning for Mathematics Educators
The Mathematics Outreach Team at the Center for Professional Development and Education Reform provides high-quality professional learning opportunities for educators, focusing on supporting the teaching and learning of mathematics with the goal of increasing student achievement. We collaborate with districts and organizations to build capacity, adapt to evolving needs, and integrate the latest research in mathematics education, continuously exploring new directions to maximize impact.

Mathematics Professional Learning
Our professional learning courses provide a space for K-12 educators to deepen their knowledge of mathematics content and and research-based instructional practices. All of our courses engage participants in experiences as learners and as facilitators of learning. We look to evoke curiosity that creates different images and beliefs around the teaching and learning of mathematics. Through our work, participants have opportunities to examine concepts, ideas, and structures in teaching and learning mathematics while connecting to their own classroom.

High-Quality Instructional Materials Support
We support districts in implementing high quality instructional materials for mathematics. We work to identify components within the adopted materials and connect them to evidence-based instructional practices. We design a comprehensive plan which may include professional learning sessions, learning labs, and coaching support.

Mathematics Coaching
We offer one-on-one or group coaching for teachers seeking to deepen their understanding of mathematics teaching and learning and refine their practice to improve student outcomes.

Teacher Leadership Professional Learning
We offer customized professional learning to meet the unique needs of teacher leaders and coaches. These offerings, available to individuals or small groups, encompass all aspects of their roles and may include professional learning sessions, coaching, or a combination of both.
Math Curriculum and Program Evaluation
We collaborate with districts and organizations to design and implement mathematics curriculum and program evaluations, using a structured approach to gather and analyze data to improve effectiveness and guide decisions in an effort to refine mathematics programs and curriculum implementation.
