Application Turnover
The production turnover process provides for the enforcement of standards necessary to assure the accuracy and reliability of production applications, data integrity and a secure environment from unproved or non-certified development applications or products. This includes the client, the server and the mainframe processes.
This standard encompasses all modules or procedures that run in a production environment. They must follow a formal turnover process in order to assure compliance to standards, “re-runability”, that all run time parameters are defined, that the scheduling is clearly defined and that compliance testing has occurred.
