Parking & Shuttles

Off-Campus Transportation

University-provided shuttle service is available between the River Campus and School of Nursing, and from a number of area hotels throughout the weekend. Each shuttle makes stops on the River Campus—at the Interfaith Chapel and at the rear entrance of Rush Rhees Library—and at the School of Nursing, Helen Wood Hall.

All shuttles operate during the following times:

Friday, October 9: 7:30 a.m.–12:30 a.m.
Saturday, October 10: 6:30 a.m.–12:30 a.m.
Sunday, October 11: 7 a.m.–3 p.m.

The following shuttles run on an approximately 30-minute loop to and from the campuses:

Radisson Hotel Rochester Riverside (formerly Clarion)
Hyatt Regency Rochester
Rochester Plaza Hotel & Conference Center (formerly Crowne Plaza)
Strathallan Hotel

Airport Loop
Holiday Inn Airport
Staybridge Inn and Suites

Henrietta Loop
Doubletree Hotel
Marriott Courtyard-Brighton

In addition, shuttles depart from the Renaissance Del Monte Lodge Hotel & Spa and from the campuses to the hotel approximately every 30 minutes. A Transportation Help Desk is located on the River Campus at the rear entrance of Rush Rhees Library. Hours are Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m.–Midnight. Parking and Campus Shuttles

River Campus parking is particularly limited on Friday. We encourage you to use shuttles from hotels and various University lots. If driving, parking staff and signage will direct you to open lots.

Laboratory for Laser Energetics Lot: Parking is available at this lot located on 250 East River Road. Shuttle service is provided from this lot to the River Campus and School of Nursing:

Thursday, October 8: 6 a.m.–7 p.m.
Friday, October 9: 6 a.m.–12:30 a.m.
Saturday, October 10: 6 a.m.–5 p.m. (School of Nursing only)

Shuttle service is provided on Friday and Saturday from behind Rush Rhees Library and the Interfaith Chapel to Intercampus and Park lots from 8 a.m.–2 a.m.

Golf carts are available on the River Campus to assist guests who have special needs in getting to and from venues. Transportation is not available from the airport to campus.
