East High to send experiment to Space Station

East High School in Rochester has been selected as a participating school for Mission 11 to the International Space Station. Student researchers De’Aunte Johnson, Binti Mohamed, and Tailor Davis will have their experiment flown to the space station in June.

Kearns Center to expand services to Rochester middle-school students

A $1.2 million Talent Search grant from the U.S. Department of Education will enable academic services for upwards of 500 RCSD students each year via College Prep Centers at East High School and Vanguard Collegiate High School.

‘The end of the beginning’: A plan to save East High School

At the request of the Rochester City School Board, the University has submitted a plan intended to administer East High School, the largest high school in Rochester which is on the verge of being closed by the State because of inadequate performance.
