Celebrate and participate
This page includes helpful information for University of Rochester faculty to help them participate in all that Commencement Weekend offers.
Details and information
The Commencement Ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. and last approximately two hours. Please plan to arrive in your regalia by 8:40 a.m. for the processional lineup. Parking will be provided. Complete instructions and parking assignments will be sent to you the week before the Commencement Ceremony.
The platform party and faculty brunch will be held immediately following the Commencement Ceremony in the Richard Feldman Ballroom, Frederick Douglass Commons.
Faculty members may order regalia from the University’s Bookstore by March 31. Additional orders will need to be placed directly with the store. Those items can be picked up at the Bookstore starting on May 6.
Please return the regalia to the University Bookstore by May 24. Faculty members who do not return regalia will be charged.
