New partnership empowers teacher-leaders in semiconductors and microelectronics
The University and Boise State University have been awarded a grant from the National Science Foundation, supported by funding from Micron Technology, to empower K–12 STEM educators to become leaders in the rapidly expanding microelectronics and semiconductor industries in New York and Idaho. This semester’s Lorri L. Jean and Darrel Cummings LGBTQ Leadership Lecture speaker will be Clarence Patton, the previous executive director of the New York City Gay and Lesbian Anti-Violence Program. The event takes place on Wednesday, October 22, at 6 p.m. in the Feldman Ballroom and will feature a free dinner catered by Salena’s Mexican Restaurant.
