University flags on the Eastman Quadrangle and near the entrance of Strong Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department will be lowered on Tuesday, November 26, for Patricia Herminghouse, a professor emeritus in the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures, who died on October 29. Herminghouse joined the University faculty in 1983.

Opioid overdose prevention training
Students, faculty, and staff can join Strong Recovery for opioid overdose prevention training on Thursday, November 21, at noon in the Gowen Room, Wilson Commons. All attendees over age 18 will receive a free Narcan kit. Registration is required. Brought to you by the UHS Health Promotion Office and cohosted by Sigma Psi Zeta.
International Theatre Program production of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
Attend a performance of the International Theatre Program’s production of Tom Stoppard’s Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, a modern classic about two minor characters in Shakespeare’s Hamlet. The show runs November 21 through December 7 at the Smith Theatre in the Sloan Performing Arts Center. Get your tickets here.
