University Dining Services moving to self-operation model
Beginning July 1, University Dining Services will move to a self-operation model to improve the dining experience for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Learn more about the transition.
As part of the move, Meliora Catering will be operated and managed directly by University Dining Services. Events scheduled to occur before July 1 will not be affected by this change. For events currently booked or scheduled to take place after July 1, email cateringquestions@rochester.edu to coordinate.

Graduate students can attend a free outdoor yoga class on Monday, June 23, at 7 p.m. on the College Town Green hosted by Graduate and Family Housing, the Mindful University Project, and College Town. Some mats will be available, but you’re encouraged to bring your own mat or towel. Register in advance; bring your student ID.
Order early for fall, pick up packages by August 8
To help departments on the River Campus prepare for the busy fall semester, the Campus Mail Center recommends ordering necessary items as soon as possible for shipments via carriers like USPS, UPS, FedEx, and Amazon. Starting in mid-August, the volume of student packages delivered to the mail center will significantly increase, temporarily affecting processing times. The Center for Community Health & Prevention is sponsoring the first 100 mission meals served at the Foodlink Community Cafe on Wednesday, June 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., while supplies last. The meal is offered to any customer seeking food assistance, no questions asked. The cafe is located in the Rochester Central Library, 115 South Avenue (Bausch & Lomb building). Edith Williams, director of the Center for Community Health & Prevention, will be at the cafe to meet community members. All proceeds support Foodlink’s mission of ending hunger and building healthier communities.
