Due to the University’s observance of the holiday on Friday, July 4, and to ensure timely processing and mailing of payroll checks, all times must be entered and approved (including time-off requests and employee timecard edits) by noon on Monday, June 30. All employees, timekeepers, and managers must comply with this deadline to ensure employees are paid properly.
In addition, all timekeepers must reference the University’s holiday policy as it relates to the Juneteenth holiday. If an hourly employee should not receive holiday pay, a row should be added to their time card with the following details: Pay Code: UR Holiday Pay; Amount: negative hours.
