Given the current complexities and uncertainties of the immigration environment, the International Services Office (ISO) strongly recommends that ISO-sponsored students do not travel outside of the US at this time. Presidential executive orders, including ones that call for enhanced screening and vetting, may cause visa delays and additional travel restrictions. Changes may occur quickly and without much, if any, prior notice, making travel outside the US risky.

Be on the lookout for an email from Barnes & Noble confirming your courses and method of course material delivery later this summer. The University’s new UR Essentials program will provide all your required textbooks and course materials before the first day of class this fall. Instead of buying books separately, the cost is now covered through tuition. Physical books will be bundled for easy pickup, and digital materials will be available on Blackboard.
