You are encouraged to regularly review your information in UR Student to ensure it is accurate and up to date. It is recommended that majors, minors, clusters, and certificates be officially declared by the end of your sophomore year.

Learn how to read your academic progress report and review your progress in UR Student regularly to confirm that all your programs of study are listed correctly and that your coursework is applying to degree requirements as expected. Identifying and addressing issues early can help prevent delays in completing your degree and graduating on time.

The spring 2027 course schedule is available in UR Student. You are encouraged to begin planning your spring schedule now. Make sure you connect with your college advisor, share your course plans, and confirm your selections to keep you on track. Advising holds must be lifted before registration for students in the School of Arts & Sciences and Simon Business School, classes of 2029 and 2030, and all Hajim School of Engineering & Applied Sciences undergraduates. Eastman School of Music music education majors and dual-degree Eastman students should meet with their advisor before registration. Course registration begins the week of November 16.

To prepare for registration:

• Complete your onboarding before you attempt to register.
• Check whether you have any holds that would prevent registration.
• Log in to UR Student and check out the class offerings for the spring semester. Don’t forget to create a saved schedule to make registration smoother.
• School of Arts & Sciences, Simon, and Hajim students, input “Spring 2027 URochester” when searching for classes within UR Student. Eastman students, input “Spring 2027 Eastman”.
• Schedule a meeting with your advisor.

UHS is hosting flu vaccine clinics for students on the River Campus (October 22) and Eastman School campus (October 27). Get details, including scheduling instructions, consent forms, and vaccine information sheets.

The last day to withdraw from a fall 2026 semester course is Monday, November 16. The last day to declare the S/F grading option is Monday, December 7.
