The 2018 Kerr Reserve Napa Valley Red blends grapes from five Napa Valley vineyards to achieve deep fruit, remarkable complexity, polished texture and tremendous length. It received a score of 94+ from The Wine Advocate. Only 120 cases were produced, making these two Magnums (1.5-Liter) true rarities. Also included is a private tasting for four at Kerr Cellars tasting salon in downtown Napa.

For those occasions, this Salmanazar (9-Liter) of 2017 Casa Lapostolle Clos Apalta XX Anniversary Edition Valle de Colchagua Red Wine is the ideal choice. A blend of Carmenere, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot that spent more than two years in small French oak barrels (85% new), it showcases powerful red fruit together with savory sandalwood, cocoa and black olive accents. Quarterback Drew Bledsoe played 14 years in the NFL, primarily for the New England Patriots. After his retirement in 2007, he moved to Walla Walla, Washington to found Bledsoe Wine Estates, which produces single-vineyard Pinot Noirs and Syrahs, as well as a Bordeaux-inspired blend. Like his quarterback career, Bledsoe’s second act is a winner.
The 2017 Doubleback Estate Reserve Walla Walla Valley Red Wine is a Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend of considerable power and depth. This Magnum (1.5-Liter) is signed by Drew Bledsoe and his partner, Director of Winemaking Josh McDaniels. The 2023 Bledsoe-McDaniels Pinot Noir is generous and elegant.
